“The First Thanksgiving, 1621” — A Painting by Karen Rinaldo is on exhibit at Falmouth Museums on the Green through 2021. The painting shows all the participants attending the first Thanksgiving. It was on display at Pilgrim Hall Museum and Plimoth Plantation from 1995 to 2017, and was used in numerous textbooks nationally and internationally. The painting depicts the Mayflower survivors and the Wampanoags who joined them in a communal recognition of their friendship.
