Plymouth 400 Souvenirs by Tech-Etch

Official custom-made stainless steel souvenirs designed and fabricated by Tech-Etch, Inc., a Plymouth, Massachusetts-based sponsor of Plymouth 400. When Tech-Etch became a Signature Sponsor they wanted to help support the Commemoration and the military/veteran organizations affiliated with Plymouth 400. They challenged their employee-owners to design and create collectible souvenirs and 4 winners were chosen. The items described below represent those winning designs and they're available for purchase while supplies last!

Multi-Tool

DESIGNER:

Jules Sabatinelli

Mechanical Engineer

Plymouth 400 Tech-Etch Multi-Tool

We proudly introduce you to a handy, attractive new Plymouth 400 souvenir designed by Plymouth 400 sponsor, Tech-Etch! The Plymouth 400 Tech-Etch Multi-tool is a stainless-steel piece with an incredible variety of uses (12-in-1!). This hand-held tool fashioned from the silhouette of the iconic Mayflower is everything from a ruler, screwdriver, bottle opener, staple remover and more!

In the words of the designer:

“400 years ago the Pilgrims found themselves in a new world with many new challenges. As such, they worked together with the Native American people to share ideas, essential skills, and the tools needed to adapt to the land.

As a mechanical engineer and Plymouth resident for the last 12 years, I have a deep appreciation for the innovative ways that early settlers traveled across the world and built their establishments from the ground up. To that effect, I designed this pocket-sized multi-tool within the silhouette of their most iconic piece of innovation, the Mayflower. Human ingenuity has no limits and the best ideas typically start with the right tool at the right time!”

Plymouth 400 Tech-Etch Bookmark

This great new Plymouth 400 souvenir was designed and fabricated by Plymouth 400 sponsor Tech-Etch. This beautiful stainless-steel piece has the Plymouth 400 logo die-cut into the top as a silhouette and additional detailed artwork painted in black on the bottom of the both the front and back.

In the words of the designer:

“One of my fondest memories of my childhood was growing up in Brockton. As an elementary school student, I was excited to see that our class was planning a field trip to Plymouth Rock! Imagine being able to take a trip through history. Fast forward decades later, I am excited to be part of this history!

As an avid reader, I was inspired to design a bookmark to commemorate the 400th anniversary. This simple but timeless piece will look beautiful slid in between the pages of a favorite piece of literature. The design itself shows the iconic state of Massachusetts, the Pilgrims along with the Plymouth 400th logo of the Mayflower with a Native American silhouette on both sides.

Whether you decide to use this collector’s piece daily or showcase it on a bookshelf, I hope that this bookmark will continue to tell a “story” of its own for many years to come.”

Bottle Opener

DESIGNER:

Andrew Demaio

CAD Engineer

Plymouth 400 Tech-Etch Bottle Opener

Where utility meets historic commemoration! This practical souvenir was designed and fabricated by Plymouth 400 sponsor Tech-Etch. The stainless-steel bottle opener has a raised depiction of various icons of the 400th anniversary and an all-important key chain hole.

In the words of the designer:

“As a 30-year resident of Plymouth, Massachusetts, I designed this etched stainless key-chain bottle opener in commemoration of the Plymouth 400 anniversary. This commemorative piece is inspired by the monuments of Plymouth. It proudly displays a depiction of a 1600’s era pilgrim, the Massasoit statue, and the town’s cherished Mayflower sea vessel all lovingly duplicated above Plymouth’s “1620 – 2020” 400th anniversary date.

It is with a love of the history of the Town of Plymouth and passion for its strong sense of togetherness and community that this was made possible through the combined efforts of Plymouth 400, Inc. and Tech-Etch.”

Plymouth 400 Tech-Etch Ornament

Trim the tree or add to that historic collectibles display with this new ornament designed exclusively by Tech-Etch for Plymouth 400. This stainless steel souvenir is painted in black with the official Plymouth 400 logo and “1620-2020” beneath it on one side and the Plymouth Town Seal is featured on the opposite side.

In the words of the designer:

“My wife and I love to collect Christmas ornaments when we go on vacations or different events. These ornaments are memories we fondly look back on each year when putting up our tree. I was inspired to design a keepsake ornament to commemorate Plymouth’s 400th anniversary as this is a momentous occasion and an ornament appeals to the masses. The design represents Plymouth, Massachusetts. Both sides of the ornament, with the 400th logo on the front and Plymouth’s town seal on the back have different depths allowing the ornament to pop.”
