Join us for Episode Nine of our Plymouth 400 CONVERSATIONS series on PACTV (Plymouth Area Community Television)!  The program will air on May 27th, June 3rd and June 10th at 7:30PM on Comcast channel 13 and Verizon channel 43 in the towns of Plymouth, Duxbury, Kingston, and Pembroke. Our guest for Episode 9 is Plymouth author and historian James W. Baker.

Jim Baker received a BSc. from Boston University and a MLS from University of Rhode Island. He served as Research Librarian and Director of Research at Plimoth Plantation from 1975 to 2001, and Curator at the Alden House Historic Site in Duxbury, 2002 to 2009. Now retired, he has published Thanksgiving: The Biography of an American Holiday, University of New Hampshire Press, 2009; A Guide to Historic Plymouth, The History Press, 2008, Alden House History: A Work in Progress , Alden Kindred of America, 2006, and edited Robert Cushman’s Cry of a Stone, GSMD, 2016, plus other titles on Plymouth and the Pilgrims. He lives in the fifth-generation family house with his wife Peggy M. Baker, Director Emerita of Pilgrim Hall Museum.
