We had a wonderful time celebrating Plymouth’s Creative Community at yesterday’s Commonwealth Awards!
35 members of this wonderful community traveled to the State House yesterday to see Senator Vinny deMacedo and Representative Matt Muratore present the Chair of Plymouth’s Board of Selectmen Ken Tavares with the Town’s Commonwealth Award.

On stage accepting the award from the Town of Plymouth were (from right) Ken Tavares, Richard Mulcahy of the Plymouth Center for the Arts (behind Mr. Tavares), Bob Hollis of the Spire Center for Performing Arts, Melissa Arrighi of the Town of Plymouth, Rob Kluin of Plimoth Plantation, Paul Cripps of Destination Plymouth, Mary Johannesen of Plymouth Cultural Council, Steven Karidoyanes of Plymouth Philharmonic, and Michele Pecoraro of Plymouth 400. Representative Matt Muratore and Senator Vinny deMacedo were there to present the award.
