Did you know today, August 26th, is National Dog Day? We want to know how you’re celebrating! Share with us photos of your four-legged friend at your favorite place in Plymouth. Tweet, Instagram, or Facebook your photo using #DogsOfPlymouth and #Plymouth400!
Here’s another fun fact: two dogs made the journey across the Atlantic on the Mayflower in 1620. Edward Winslow wrote in his booklet, A Relation or Journal of the Beginning and Proceedings of the English Plantation Settled at Plimoth in New England (Otherwise known as Mourt’s Relation that they were actually a female mastiff and a small springer spaniel.
