Plymouth’s Thanksgiving Parade Voted #1

The Official Website of the
Plymouth 400
Commemoration

Being that Thanksgiving can trace its roots back to Plymouth Colony, 1621, it’s no surprise that Plymouth’s Thanksgiving parade was ranked the number one Thanksgiving parade in the country by AOL Travel last year. Here’s what they had to say about America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration:

“Plymouth holds its parade, ‘one of America’s only historically accurate chronological parades,’ the weekend before Thanksgiving. But as it was the host city for the first Thanksgiving feast, it’s entitled to hold the parade whenever it wants.” – AOL Travel

This year’s parade will take place on Saturday, November 22, and will step off from the Benny’s Plaza Court Street at 11:00AM. Plymouth 400 is joining in the fun this year, and hosting Illuminate 2014 on November 21 as a kick-off to the Thanksgiving celebrations. Stay tuned for more details!
