Meet the Plymouth International Chorus

The Official Website of the
Plymouth 400
Commemoration

Students from the Plymouth Public Schools in Massachusetts will travel to the United Kingdom this July to serve as musical ambassadors in the Plymouth International Chorus (PIC), and we can’t wait to introduce you to these kids!
The PIC is comprised of thirty-one students from the Plymouth Public Schools, grades five through seven, and 220 students from the Plymouth, UK school system. Together, the two groups will perform on July 9th at the historic Plymouth Guildhall in the city of Plymouth, UK and more than 500 attendees, including the Lord Mayor of Plymouth City Council, are expected to attend.
The PIC directors from the Plymouth Public Schools (Karen Antonsen-Devoe, Kathy McMinn, and Jessica Fuller) like to say that the group is “Kind of a BIG DEAL” and we totally agree! We made this video to introduce our local students to their UK counterparts, and we know you’ll enjoy meeting these kids as well!

Check back soon for behind-the-scenes photos of the group getting ready for their big UK debut!

SPECIAL THANKS to Cam McCormack and Matt Webb from Plymouth North High School for their awesome filmmaking skills!
